🔗 Linking

받침 + vowel can link in speech

When the next syllable begins with a vowel sound, the final consonant is often heard as the next syllable's starting sound.

Listening clue: trust the whole spoken word, not a letter-by-letter pause.
Pronunciation rule · P04
👃 Nasal sound change

Some final sounds change before ㄴ or ㅁ

In common speech, ㄱ/ㄷ/ㅂ-type final sounds can move toward nasal sounds before ㄴ or ㅁ. Learn this mainly for listening.

Key clue: if spelling and audio seem different, check the next ㄴ/ㅁ before assuming you heard the wrong word.
Pronunciation rule · P05
👂 ㄴ + ㄹ

ㄴ and ㄹ can sound more like ㄹㄹ

This is a recognition rule. You do not need to calculate it while speaking.

Recognition first: learn the sound through the complete word.
Pronunciation rule · P06
💨 ㅎ + aspiration

ㅎ can make a nearby consonant stronger

When ㅎ meets certain consonants, you may hear an aspirated sound such as ㅋ, ㅌ, or ㅊ.

EPS clue: the spelling stays the same even when the natural sound changes.
Pronunciation rule · P07
⚡ Tensing after 받침

A following consonant can become tense

After some final consonants, ㄱ ㄷ ㅂ ㅅ ㅈ may be heard as a tense sound. This matters for EPS listening recognition.

Do not change the spelling. Train your ear to accept the natural sound.
Pronunciation rule · P08
🗣 Whole-expression rhythm

Hear greetings as one complete chunk

Do not break these expressions into grammar yet. Hear, recognize, and repeat the whole rhythm.
