Privacy Policy

KoreanLifeGuide is operated by INFLUNET. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use KoreanLifeGuide, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information you provide

If you create an account or contact support, we may process information such as your email address, authentication information, support messages, and information you voluntarily provide. If you use Google Sign-In or another supported sign-in provider, we may receive basic account information needed to authenticate you.

2. Learning, saved content and app progress

Signed-in users may store learning progress, mastery results, lesson history, saved content, recently viewed items, language preferences and related settings so KoreanLifeGuide can continue your experience across sessions and supported devices.

3. Kora AI

When you use Kora, the text you submit and any image you intentionally attach may be processed to generate a response. If you use voice input, microphone audio may be converted to text before your question is processed. Information submitted to Kora may be handled by service providers that support the AI feature.

Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, or other information you do not want processed by an AI service.

4. Location and nearby services

If you choose a feature that uses your location, such as finding nearby hospitals, dental clinics or other services, KoreanLifeGuide may request device location permission and use location data to provide relevant nearby results. Location access is requested only when a location-based feature needs it and is subject to the permissions you control on your device.

5. Photos, camera, microphone and speech features

Camera, photo-library and microphone access are requested only when you choose a feature that needs them, such as attaching a photo to Kora, voice input, or optional speaking/recording practice. Local lesson recordings are intended to remain on your device unless a feature clearly tells you that information will be uploaded or processed remotely.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Subscriptions may be processed by Google Play, the Apple App Store, or another payment provider made available through the service. KoreanLifeGuide may store subscription identifiers, entitlement/access status, product information, transaction references and dates needed to provide and manage Premium access. INFLUNET does not store your full payment-card number.

7. Device and security information

To operate the service, troubleshoot issues and reduce account abuse or unauthorized sharing, we may process limited device and technical information such as an app-generated device identifier, general device label, app/browser information, sign-in status and last-used time.

8. Referral and creator attribution

If you arrive through a creator, affiliate or referral link/code, KoreanLifeGuide may process the referral code, attribution information, qualifying purchase reference and commission status needed to operate the referral program.

9. How information is used

• Provide and maintain KoreanLifeGuide and its features.
• Authenticate accounts and preserve learning progress.
• Provide Premium access after a verified subscription purchase.
• Provide Kora AI, translation, photo and language-support features you request.
• Provide nearby-service and location-based results when requested.
• Prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and maintain security.
• Provide customer support and administer referrals.
• Comply with applicable legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

10. Service providers

KoreanLifeGuide may use third-party service providers for functions such as authentication and data storage, hosting, app-store payments, mapping/location results, analytics or diagnostics, AI processing, and other infrastructure required to operate the service. Those providers may process information according to their own applicable privacy terms and our service arrangements.

11. Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain account and subscription records, satisfy legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce applicable agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and legal requirement.

12. Your choices and privacy requests

You can control device permissions such as location, microphone, camera and photos through your device settings. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information by contacting us at support@influnet.co.kr, subject to information we are required or permitted to retain by law.

13. Account deletion

Where account deletion is available in the app, you may use that option. You may also request account deletion by emailing support@influnet.co.kr. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription; subscription cancellation is managed through the store where the subscription was purchased.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

15. International processing

Because KoreanLifeGuide uses service providers and infrastructure that may operate internationally, information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, subject to applicable law and appropriate service arrangements.

16. Children's privacy

KoreanLifeGuide is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from young children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can review the situation.

17. Sale of personal information

INFLUNET does not sell personal information.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when KoreanLifeGuide, applicable laws, or the services we use change. The current version will be published at this URL with an updated date.
